Dean is a weight-loss coaching app that runs in a group chat. This page says what we collect, why, and who else touches it. Plain English, no tricks.

What we collect

We do not ask for your email, phone number, contacts or location. Voice dictation is turned into text on your phone; the recording is never sent to us.

Why

To work out your calorie and protein targets, price what you eat, track your progress, and let Dean and your crew reply. That is the whole use. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who else handles it

Who can see what

People in your crew can see your messages, your logged days, your progress and any photos you post in the chat. Progress photos are visible only to you and your crew. Your weekly crew recap and the photos in your chat sit behind long private links: anyone you give such a link to can open it, so share them with care. Nothing is listed or searchable.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your data while your account exists. To delete your account and everything in it, email support@leanwithdean.com and we will do it within 30 days. Messages you sent stay visible to your crew until the account is deleted.

Health information

Weight and food logs are sensitive. We treat them that way: they are only used to run the app for you and your crew. Dean is not a medical service and his numbers are estimates, not medical advice.

Age

Dean is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app. Questions: support@leanwithdean.com.
